Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Tom Clancy is a big name in the tactical shooter world, known for both his Rainbow Six Vegas games and, the series we're here to talk about, Ghost recon. The latest instalment 'Future Soldier' takes the series to a whole new level, where the best tech rules the world of warfare, and teamwork goes hand in hand with survival. Here at Gaming Cow, we're all looking forward to it's release next month and will bring you the review the day after release. So readers, it's time to believe in ghosts.

  1. I am looking forward to GRFS. There is a definite need for a true tactical shooter. With the failure of Socom 4 and the proliferation of the COD run and gun gendre a real hole is left in the thinking mans shooter realm. I was hoping to review the beta for PS3 but so far I have not received a key. Please take note if GRFS has terrible things like kill flags over the bomb carrier, or kill streaks. These additions by COD games destroy the tactical nature of game play.

  2. I completely agree, the Call of Duty franchise is butchering all that's left of the good shooters, which my colleague will be writing about shortly. I was not too impressed with GRAW2's singleplayer but the multiplayer was fantastic with friends so I hope they can keep it up with the new instalment. Thanks for the comment.
